OK, this really needs to be fixed. The idea of having midi controls assigned ONLY to the switches is ridiculous and frustrating. It keeps this beautiful sounding device completely locked away from expansion. External Midi Controlling Unassigned Blocks

I’m sure it’s been requested before but, I didn’t find it. I don’t use scenes because of personal preference. I very much prefer treating my QC like real a real pedalboard, meaning each effect has a way to engage/disengage via foot switch. As it stands, I can’t use an external controller to do so for blocks not already assigned to QC foot switches. That’s quite frustrating as I use a few more than 8 effects. CC MIDI input to activate blocks based on the grid position and not the assigned foot-switches

I find it strange that external MIDI devices can only control devices that are assigned to foot-switches. Ideally I’d like to be able to externally control blocks that are not assigned to foot-switches, because I don’t have a foot-switch to do that. An example would be using QC with Ableton Live and using some switches to control the software (starting loops/automations) and the software turning blocks off and on. On/off of effect blocks individually using (external) MIDI CC

As I understand the current MIDI implementation, it is only possible to “remote control” the switches A-H using MIDI CCs and perform the corresponding actions depending on the active mode (preset, scenes…). While this is neat as such, I would like to be able to play in preset or scenes mode and switch separate effects/blocks on/off individually using an external MIDI controller. Could you please make it possible to assign a CC to each block for external (de)activation while playing?

Effects etc. controlled with midi

Control state (bypass, etc.) of blocks with midi. I have run out of available switches and don’t want to use scenes. Since we don’'t have multiple functions with the switches (i.e. push, double push, long push) there are a few blocks that are in my presets but can’t be utilized because I have no way to turn them on or off. I can deal with using midi to do this but there is currently no way to do this with the QC.
