Thomann in Germany states availability in 2-3 weeks. If that is the case and there are no further delays, then - according to Neural - the first and second tier units actually should be shipping by now. Can anyone confirm they received notification ?

Received an email where it say’s January 8th , so 
I have absolutely no faith in january 8th from Thomann. Its gonna be pushed again im sure. Im guessing sometime in February. Provided tier1/2 gets theirs early/mid january. Doubt tier 1/2 get it before new years. But ofcourse it would be welcome

Thomann delivering Jan 8th would mean preorders would have to be shipped right after christmas.

MMMhh… It would be nice, but I don’t think so.
During Pete Thorn streaming, yesterday, he said that he has to send QC back because of technical reasons.
The feeling is that it will take some time to fix things. Then payments and deliveries will start for tier 1, then for 2, and finally the distributors. I don’t think the date of January 8 is plausible
Can anyone remind me the original deadline for tier 1 ? Was it October?

QC or no QC, we as musicians have so much to be thankful for - we are able to express in a language that speaks to every human being. Let’s use that gift to make some peace in this world today.

I was checking my Neural account today, and it hit me that I put my $200.00 deposit down on the 10th of January, 2020. Since that time I’ve bought a Kemper Stage, declined the FM3, spent 297 days in Covid lock down, spent 3.2 months in an extended fire season, spent 3 days in fire evacuation, put 5 guitars, Mesa Mk5, 5 speakers, QU16, Z14 and Z10, 3 plastic storage boxes of Band equipment, AX8, Stage, pedal board into storage (4 times), and then taken them out again, 4 times, lost a sister to cancer and ‘Tree’ our wonderful Bass player (RIP), my right hand will only continue to work for maybe another year, and somehow knowing how much tougher it is for many others I still feel sorry for myself.
Along with a more unified USA, the worldwide eradication of Covid, I hope to play with my Band in 2021 in Bars & Clubs with out fear (or pain) - may the Quad and the vaccine be a start to a peaceful 2021, and to those that have real issues, may your music soothe the soul.

Thanks for your kind words. It’s been tough for so many people, and likely to get harder. I need to get my big boy pants on, get the vaccine, get a new Bass player, (preferable the reincarnation of Jack Bruce), hit the bars and clubs, remember I survived, remember how to smile, stay sober and clean (24 years come Feb 7th, at 4.00 AM GMT, but who’s counting ?) - make enough noise that Old Nick bans me from Hell, and learn for once in my life that I should be grateful.
I had a street Vet come up to me after an open air gig a few years back. Dirty, smelly and a bit boozed - He hugged me and told me that any band that played ‘Ten Years After’ was special, and he insisted I take his hat. There was me, Cusom Les Paul in my hands, Mesa Mk V behind me and he was the one giving me a present. Boy … I really do have this all wrong.
So thanks, you’ve brought me some memories. Now if I could just learn to play the guitar … And get my Quad … and volunteer

I still doubt shipment from Thomann in 1-2 weeks, which is now stated in their online shop now. Waiting for the next “postponed” message …
The good news is, with the artists now having received the updated units, this would suggest there have been no parts or manufacturing delays with the component update, and they are likely busy updating the boards in the 2,000 tier preorder units and just waiting out the next couple weeks for the final round of beta testing to be complete. Hoping no further software updates are required and tier 1 emails go out in january.
If thats ‘meh’ according to pete thorn, well sign me up for ‘meh’, I think that sounded sick.
