I will capture my Marshall 1992LEM with the Lemmy settings from the manual and my '63 Fender bassman with an Alan Davey like sound/setting.

Fender 1958 Deluxe
Fender 1966 Vibro Champ
Cornell custom 15 watt Vox type amp
Kemper profiles of all the above made in 2012. I plan to get Kemper again when I get QC. Let them fight it out. The best profiler stays.
Whatever happens, the captures will go up for sharing.

Just remembered I have a Menatone Workingman Blues and a SoloDallas Storm collecting dust. Might as well give them a shot when I get my QC.

I would like to capture the Strymon Riverside and the Strymon Sunset in different flavours.

And hopefully there will be a Mesa Boggie Mark 5 clean capture available as well.

I will be trying to capture my Strymon Sunset Overdrive. And maybe some of the amps in the Axe Fx III as well.

The coin just dropped that I can capture the PSA1.1 presets, that should make for some fun tones.

the Blue Sky won’t work… no time based pedals i.e. reverb, delay, chorus, flange, univibe etc… only drive or distortion pedals, amps, cabinets, boosts etc… in other words anything EQ and gain based…

time based captures might come later… but my guess much much later… I would think their first priorities will not include writing the extremely complex algorithm for capturing time based pedals… but instead improving upon and adding to the onboard FX it comes with.

I think I may have to buy a Quad cortex just so I can capture my Klon Centaur #005.

My Mesa DR, 5150 and ADA-MP1 for starters. :grinning:

Just got it in the Anderton’s ‘second wave’.

Did an amp and cab capture of the 1958 heavily attenuated through a fryette ps1. Came out really well.

Can’t get it to pick up wifi down in my basement but will try it further up the house where the signal is strong tomorrow. If that works I can upload my first capture.

To be continued.

Ive got an old Tremoverb head, an Engl Powerball, and a couple of marshalls that im going to capture and some other stuff like an old modded Peavey Rockmaster preamp that sounds fun to capture.

So far, Ive been capturing preamps from Kemper commercial profiles. They capture surprisingly well and I’ve gotten some amazing tones. Some of them sound better on the QC than the kemper. I am using IRs and the QC cabs and that may be responsible, but also the kemper has this low mid thing that bothers me sometimes and the QC seems to eliminate that.

Aaargh !! A friend of mine just sold an original Klon Centaur for insane money … it is lost for the capturing world now … too bad …

…a bunch of bad playing. Lol

I’ve done my Orange Rockerverb MKIII 100-watter, my Diezel D-Moll, and Diezel VH-4. I’ve done my VHT Sig:X, and my Marshall JVM410HJS. A friend has an SLO-100 that I want to do and another friend has a Diezel Hagen that I want to do as well.

I have completed a capture of the Abasi Pathos and the Horizon Devices Precision Drive (Asia ltd model)… I havent worked out how to capture the pedals within the PC apps as id like to get the Grind and Hex from there… any thoughts?

I have a 1965 Fender Showman and my friend Nate has an even older Tremolux that just sounds fantastic. I’m going to capture both of those. I already created IRs for the speakers (Celestion G12-65’s for the Showman, and Oxford K10s in the Tremolux). I want to get the amps and cabinets in Quad Cortex and use them for gigging.
