Seeing as though the signal cuts in between switching presets, playing live I had resorted to using my QC with a MIDI controller that sends a MIDI clock in - better utilising my ‘Scene’ mode for a setlist, with minimal changes except BPMs.
I was thinking instead of recreating new presets for the purpose of a new song (with a new preset BPM per se)
I thought, wouldn’t it be a good idea to add extra features to the tap tempo screen?
Since then I have gotten rid of the MIDI controller and manually tapped to the new BPM…
(Despite not having transparent delay been fixed as of yet in 2024 - with the weird analog warble to the Tape Delays) see this and this.
Something like, fine tuning the current BPM with a footswitch incrementally increasing or decreasing BPM, or even allowing presaved BPMs on the screen.
It would eliminate the need for multiple presets IMO and better utilises the Tap Tempo screen at the moment with unused switches.
What do you guys think?
