Make the delay’s signal volume equal to the dry signal at the 50% mark.
Delay signal only at the 100% mark.
Let us TOGGLE this feature.
The current method of having delay and dry signals equal to each other at the ~75-85% mark does not make sense for a lot of users. A 50% equal mix gives users a more predictable linear operation. Users should be able to toggle this feature on or off from the Settings menu.
I noticed that the delay pedal block in Cory Wong X (PCOM in the QC) has an equal 50/50 mix at noon, and delay signal only at 100%. I need to check the other PCOM-specific delay blocks.
This is the [collective] desired behavior for delay blocks. Hopefully Neural can implement this behavior for all of the non-PCOM delays.
it does seem like some of the newer PCOM wet fx react a little differently, I noticed that with the Delays too. I need to do an extended test with the Looper and set up Scenes to more easily compare the differences in the new fx
This is bugging me like heck. I’m trying to get a 50% Dotted 8th delay (a-la https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0TWTnYZBdM) but the numbers just don’t work well, making my brain hurt because on a different device the same setting works, and here it only sounds somewhat similar going up to 80-85%, but then the slapback is too low volume-wise
