Describe your issue:
When i set the mix of the delay to 50%, the repeats don’t have the right volume, they sound too low.
This didn’t happen in earlier version of the OS (witness here https://youtu.be/osRkUG5g0NA?t=202)
Steps to reproduce your issue:
Insert a delay block
Set the mix to 50% (which means in every other device is played volume = repeats volume)
I expected this to happen:
I expect the volume of the repeats to be equal to played, when i go up to 100% the played volume should lower until not being heard at 100%
I have tried the following things:
I have tried all the delays
I have tried the Gojira Delay, which works well in the plugin. Not on the pedalboard
Many of us feel that from the beginning that mix % has been inaccurate.
I’ve always set mine to around %75 to get them close to a ‘unity’ volume with the dry signal. I don’t think it’s ever been discussed officially, but I’ve seen many users speak of the same results.
I find it can differ depending on how you’re monitoring; headphones/monitors/cab/PA… even a perfect dial in under one configuration can differ when amplified thru another system
And I voted you!
Guys I’ve had every digital device on earth and since 80’s quadraverbs the 50% mix means, in a serial line, that you have equal volume to repeats as much as direct sound.
Unless I find an explanation in the manual for a different behavior (which I haven’t found) this is clearly a mistake.
And listening to Leon Todd video I see it WAS working, at least working better than now.
So I’m wondering why this basic feature hasn’t been fixed yet!
I agree with you that it is a mistake / bug / bad integration, whatever you wanna call it. I am just saying that it never has worked properly, having used the QC for years now.
