When using a real amp in conjunction with the quad cortex, having a channel switching block on stomp mode to be able to change amp channels would be a great feature. Off is one midi message to the amp, on is another midi message.
@Logannikolic, there are already a lot of requests for more MIDI functions, though most are focused on Scenes rather than Stomp mode. Some have a high number of votes, so I suggest checking them out:
There are loads of midi commands that can be triggered on preset loading but only one per scene. A few more per scene would really help. Quite often you might want to change preset on an outboard pedal and turn one or two on or off so I think at least 4 commands would really help. If it could trigger midi notes as well that would be even better but I’d settle for 4 PC’s / CC’s
OK, this really needs to be fixed. The idea of having midi controls assigned ONLY to the switches is ridiculous and frustrating. It keeps this beautiful sounding device completely locked away from expansion. In reality it turns the “Most powerful floor modeler on the planet” into “Just another limited (yet expensive) 8-device/settings” processor. IF you can’t give us on/off (i.e. 0=off, 1 or higher = on) control for each device then assign on/off to the grid numbers and give us the ability to ma…
when in Preset mode, I want to send PC messages from QC switches - such as setting the preset on an external device
When in Scene mode, I want to send different messages - maybe change the value of a parameter on an external device.
When in Stomp mode, I want to send different messages - treating external devices as stomp boxes
In each mode, I want to be able to send messages to multiple devices. PCs for Presets, multiple parameters in Scenes, Multiple on/off signals in stomp
