Scene and stomp mode should have completely separate midi setup panels so that when you setup midi mappings for the switches in scenes mode, it doesn’t affect stomp mode, and vice-versa.
Use case: Controlling an amplifier from midi using scenes, but then using stomps to turn on and off your effects. Currently in stomp mode, your effects switches will end up switching your amplifier channels because of the mappings you’ve made.
Just have three totally separate menu options:
Scene midi
Stomps midi
Preset midi
And make all of the mappings totally unique and unrelated to one another.
I was using the quad, when I came across a problem, the midi out configuration, for other equipment, is exactly the same in SCENE and STOMP mode, I went to activate a stomp, it changed my whammy DT configuration which is controlled via midi, and on the same switch, it would be interesting to have the option of making a configuration in SCENE mode, and another in STOMP mode, thus opening hundreds of possibilities, and functionality to the quad cortex
It is truly insane that they haven’t expanded the midi for QC to allow really basic stuff. Being limited to basically 8 stomps or scenes at once (aside from some trickery) is unreal.
