What cables for connecting Scarlet solo to Kemper Kab please?

Hi, new to all of this after running my Kemper and a tube amp for home playing.

So I bought a Scarlet solo which I hook up to my MacBook and got the 14 day trials of the John Mayer and Morgan plugins and I’ve been very happy with the sound through my headphones.

Before I buy a true frfr cabinet, I thought I’d try to use my Kemper Kab.

What cable do I need to connect the Scarlet to the Kab please?

If you would be kind enough to provide an Amazon link that would be perfect.

And as I’m a total newbie, where do they plug in :wink:

As far as I can tell, the Kemper Kabinet is just a speaker cabinet. It’s not powered.

You would need to plug an instrument cable from the output of your Scarlet to a power amp, then run a speaker cable from the power amp to the speaker cabinet.

If you get a powered FRFR speaker, then all you would have to do is connect the output of the Scarlet to the input of the FRFR.

I should have said that my Kemper Kab is the powered version.

Gotcha. Just run a standard instrument cable from the Scarlet output to the Kemper Power Kabinet input.

You may need to adjust levels in the plug-in or on the Scarlet output to play nice with the Kemper cabinet input.

Thanks that works.

I never thought it would be so easy. Was over thinking it with things like stereo outputs and SPIDIFs!

So, got it working but does not sound good. Need to do some tweaking of levels as you say.
