Hi, please see photo below. On the right side is an audio recording of QC dry DI (USB 3) and below it wet USB 1/2. The waveforms seem very small. Compare that to a DI signal from guitar plugged directly into my Focusrite 2i4 on the left of the photo. Both connected via USB. Why is the QC signal over USB so small? Can I adjust this? I want a strong USB DI so I can later reamp.
Thanks
Alan
The dry output over USB is just going to be a reflection of your input.
Have you set the input level on the input you’re using? I suspect you are just very low at the very first stage.
Then the wet, I expect by the waveform of the wet signal, you are adding 12db or more of gain in the output of the amp block or the cab block so you could hear anything at all. But not knowing the preset you’re using, I’m just guessing as to where you added the gain in the preset. Regardless, once you get the input gain properly sorted, you’ll have to back that off.
