Same here. USB port died suddently. I have a NO in the USB connection diagnostics but my computer dettects the QC propperly

Since I was out of warranty and left out to dry anyway, I messed around with jailbreaking and gaining access to the system to see if thereās anything on the Linux side of the QC I could potentially do to work around this problem, but they seemingly improved their security in CorOS 3+ so itās not that easy to gain SSH access anymore. Havenāt managed full access yet, I might mess around with it some more at some point.
If your PC detects the QC still, youāre already a step further than some of us in this thread.
In my case, as my Quad Cortex was out of warranty, I sent it to a local unofficial technical support and I was informed that I needed to replace the equipmentās processor. This cost me about 30% of the Quad Cortexās value. I fixed it and sold it. Today Iām with a Fender Tone Master and Iām very satisfied. It seems to me a more robust equipment and less prone to this type of problem.

Mine had the same issue ā it was repaired in March, but it failed again today. In Germany they give a 3-year warranty, and mine expires in 4 days. I live in Latin America, and sending it back is expensive. Such a bad experience.
