Turn off amp block in scenes

Hi guys! I am struggling with the scenes. Latest update on QC. My idea is to have a clean amp on scene A, than a dirtier on scene B etch etc.
I do the hold and adjust to scenes, but whatever I do the amps don´t turn off in the scenes. I have changed Device settings to “Never overwrite bypass state when changing bypass state by any method”, but the amps don´t turn themselves off.

What am I doing wrong here?

Hold on the power button in the block- then you can assign it to scenes. And, obviously, you have to set it either on or off, depending on what state you want it on the given scene.

I’ve tried that. Only work-around I found was to for every change I made was to hit the save-button every time. Then it seemed to work as wanted.

That’s exactly how the “Never overwrite bypass …” setting is supposed to work.
When this is active and you switch to another scene, that change is not saved to the first scene. So you have to explicitly save before changing the scene.

Do you really need the “Never overwrite bypass…" setting? If not, i’d suggest you use the default setting, which is much more intuitive.

When I didn’t have the «Never overwrite bypass" it surely didn’t work as wanted.
Though I didn’t hit the save button…

You always have to save any changes you make

Some players find it more convenient to use the default setting for creating and editing presets/scenes, and then another setting, for instance, “Never overwrite…”, for performance.
