Tempo/metronome view in 3.2.0 and how to get back

Hi there!

Couldn’t find an answer so had to start a new thread. So sorry if this has already been dealt with :melting_face:

Updated my QC a couple of weeks ago and now the new tap tempo/metronome view tends to stuck if I happen to mis-step on any of the footswitches. The previous tap tempo was genius since whenever I got the tempo right I could press any of the vacant switches to get back to gig view. Any tips on how to deal with this?

You’re saying you hit ANY switch and the tempo screen comes up permanently?

I had this happen last weekend. I was tapping in a tempo and it the QC got stuck on the tempo screen. I had to reach down and hit the check mark button to get back to Gig view. I can’t remember if I tried hitting any of the other switches to exit the tempo screen.

Try a Recovery/Reset- it should close if you hit any of the A-H switches, the update didn’t change this functionality

(Also, make sure you’re on 3.2.1)

Thanks for the answers buddies! Realised that in the new tap tempo view you can use the ‘‘next preset’’ button to exit the tempo view. Had a moment of panic on the first gig with the new update when I activated the metronome in the middle of our second set :smiley:
