I’ve been using mine on the “Appetite” Channel to play along with Welcome to the Jungle. I learned that whole song and got it up to speed (solos and all) in about 3 days because I was digging the sound of that channel so much! I had to turn up the delay a little in the mix, but after that, I was amazed at how close the tones of that channel, one of my Driskills, and my WCR pickups in said guitar were to Slash’s sound. It already sounds better than my HELIX IMO. Can’t wait to see where updates get this thing!!!

I have like and dislikes about the unit, I got mine from SW in the USofA. I don’t like the app and liking and staring presets only to see owner delete them making the preset useless,. What I am doing wrong with that ? I download I save and when I play the next day it has a crossed out Capture block saying there owner deleted. Lack of options for outputs like having 3/4 copy 1/2, or a Volume pedal to input or output. Also the noise floor is really bad, I have single coils that are noiseless through a tube amp but make unheard of squeal on QC. Tuner needs more options ,strobing mute/unmute, Alt tuning. The Goods, I captured most of my pedals and really love that feature, They should make a capture only pedal for Stomps! it would be Hotcakes. The Overload of CP usage may not be an issue until mega Reverbs get loaded in the future. The Hype Videos finally stopped. I was buying this good or bad as I am a Modeling Nerd. I still use my FM3 for daily use but QC is a easy setup away from being helpful.
Sad to say, I have had little time with it. Work got in the way. 
I will be spending the entire weekend messing around, so stay tuned for impressions. For reference, I have been a Kemper user for the past 5 years. 
I also will be building a new board for that QC. Which will include the QC, Powerstage 170, and Shure GLXD16.

Just curious, with the powerstage having EQ options… how will you balance that out with the EQ options already in the QC? This has been my main concern with certain power amps and the potential for them muddying/altering the QC tone.
I had the same worries when I first got it. SD recommends you start of with every thing at 12 o’clock as that is the most transparent setting. This is what I have it set at 98% of the time. If I am using a back-line cab that colors my sound in a different way then I am use to with my Friedman cab, I have the global EQ of the PS to compensate if needed. So in short, for me, it turned out not to be an issue.

The Cygnus update is just AMAZING for the Axe-FX III, FYI… I will re-up for my QC at some point, but I’m not missing it atm.

So far I haven’t found the sound I’m searching for with quad cortex.
I know this will sound crazy but I keep going back to my Positive Grid Spark amp. I want this QC to be everything I want but, so far I haven’t had any luck getting the tone for instrumental soloing.
If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate the help
It’s all about finding what works for you versus the seeming want for “gear supremacy”. If AxeFx…or a Pignose for all that matter… works for you, then awesome.
