Stereo input?

This seems like a basic question but I cannot for the life of me find the answer. I do NOT have a QC, but am strongly considering getting one to replace my Ampero Stomp II.

I know the QC combo jacks are XLR/TS/TRS. I run some stereo pedals (and have a Chroma Console on the way) that I would like to feed into the QC. Do the QC inputs accept a stereo signal with the TRS? I would love if input 1 could carry my guitar’s stereo pedals and process everything that follows in stereo, with my bass permanently plugged into input 2 (mono) for bass presets. Or do you have to use physical inputs 1 and 2 to feed the QC a stereo input?

no inputs or outputs are stereo (except the headphones)- you’ll have to use them in pairs. You can put a stereo pedal in the FX Loop and then insert it anywhere on the grid, but you’ll have to use both input jacks for a stereo signal.
The TRS jacks only provide balanced signal, not stereo.

There are several ways you could accomplish what you’re looking to do.

2 separate input lanes (the stereo outputs of your pedal) could be merged into one stereo signal path on the QC’s grid. You’d still have Input and Lane 3 and 4 for bass or whatever else.

You could run the pedal in the FX Loop and then insert it as the first block on your grid, which would essentially give you the same effect, but would but much more versatile because you could also move it to any point in your signal chain.
You’d still have 3 Inputs left for other instruments, plus you could also choose to run them thru the FX Loop too (not both instruments simultaneously, only one or the other)

I edited my post with a few options for using a stereo pedal outside of the QC

I don’t quite follow all your terms, probably since I don’t yet have the QC and can’t see all the ins and outs (so to speak) of the editor.

You’ve helped me to understand how to use the FX loop either as the stereo input for the pedals, or for a bass or additional guitar in the alternative. Either way, good to know that the QC can handle what I’m wanting.

Thank you for the detailed answer!
