Can I run stereo in/out of FX loops? Can Out 3-4 have a different volume than Out 1-2?

I’m looking to buy a Quad Cortex and thinking about my set up.

I play mostly solo guitar & lap steel gigs, and I want to be able to insert my Strymon Bigsky reverb into the signal chain with left & right stereo ins/outs via the Send/Return 1 and Send/Return 2. Will that work?

Also, is there a way to set the volume output of Out 3 & 4 separately from the output volume of Out 1 & 2?

short answer- YES, to both questions.

The complicated thing about the QC is there are usually several ways to accomplish any task. The routing is extremely flexible. For example, the Send/Returns are each mono, but since there are two you can use it in stereo but for only one pedal (unless you stack outboard pedals in series.)

You could also connect the QC to your pedal via midi and control preset changes on the BS- I’ve done that with my Strymon Volante.
