One thing to try: make sure in ASIO setup for Cali you have only one input selected and two outputs selected. Don’t know if it will help, but worth a try…
A work around: Cantabile offers a free version of their VST host designed specifically for live performance. The free version has enough functionality to host multiple instances of Cali or whatever, plus also mix other VSTs into the chain if you like. And you can use midi learn on plugins that include it like Cali. Great product that a lot of pro players use. Their paid versions unlock a lot of management and automation features…but the free version is surprisingly useful imo.
