Sound over usb CONSTANTLY drops out

Running my QC out via USB 3/4 in to Logic and the sound is constantly dropping out completely. The only way to fix it is to unplug the usb and re-plug it in. It is so annoying. It can go an hour or so without it happening, or it happens every two minutes. It’s brutal

Is the audio dropping because of a CPU overload on the computer running logic? I know pro tools can get annoying with that sometimes. But when it’s dropping the audio playback, it isn’t making actual gaps in the track that’s recording

That’s definitely possible. The recording still continues, although I cant hear anything. Though I feel like it still happen sometimes, even when im not recording. Is this a very common thing for logic? Im not really running anything else and Ive got an M2 MBA

I’ve been using an older Mac w/ Logic and a powered hub, never had any USB recording issues.
You’re on the factory power supply and a powered USB hub? Sometimes the USB port or cable can be a problem.
Have you checked the USB stats to see what is happening with the audio drops? Is it still sending USB info?
