Soon (NDSP Teaser)

If it is anything other than a major CorOS release, it definitely shouldn’t be teased under the QC category of this forum!

I’m very excited what it is …

It’s likely just a nre plug-in suite as others hsve said, but would be nice if it was a new set of amp models for the QC.
Id be most exited about a new OS release containing;

New amp models (more Friedman amps and something like Magnatone?..)
More Wahs (as originally listed)
More overdrive pedals
New revisions of modulation effects.
Synth block(s)

Have to say however, that I’m happy knowing all of the above will likely come in time and will be nice surprises when they do - so much in the QC already to play with an learn about.

Rando prog guitarist Archetype incoming with the same amp models types as the past few plugins, but a different UI image. In like 6 months they’ll still be working on plugins for QC and be surprised why people are mad

They need a solid, non-metal bass archetype for their catalog. Anything else (ā€œrando progā€, some fucking youtuber, yet another 5150, etc.) will be another wtf-are-these-guys-thinking reaction from me.

Yay, yet another plugin amp suite, that I can not use on the Quad Cortex

It’d be great to see the same effort they make for plugins, Archetype (almost every month there’s a new one) and other stuff being also directed in putting out more amp options for QC…

Curious that it’s not even an X version, so even when plugins do come to the QC, this won’t be ready?

It’s a Morgan Amps suite. https://youtu.be/nXkLSNYet8Q

Does this do anything for me as a Quad Cortex user?

That depends on how patient you are and if you like well made digital models of Morgan amps.

I like Morgans so am pretty stoked about this coming to the QC

I have a feeling we’ll see new models of these amps and cabs in the QC in one of the next updates.

As a QC owner, I’m too am getting tired of all the new plug-in release hype. I understand it’s ā€œmarketingā€ and is supposed to keep QC owners informed and excited about things to come but it’s just becoming increasingly annoying seeing plugin after plugin being released while the $$$ I spent gets a ā€œmaybe update something next monthā€ promise.
To remedy this (for myself) I got off my ass yesterday and finally setup the plug-ins I’ve purchased (Pilini X and Tone King) on my Mac using the QC as my DAW, through my regular live rig. I’ve never been a ā€œmodelerā€ kinda guy…I don’t play through the board/PA but through actual guitar cabs and I’ve never been foolish enough to assume that using a signature model of ANYTHING will help me sound more like the artist (I’d need Robben Ford’s hands and brain to make me sound like him) BUT I am very impressed with what the Pilini plugin brings to the table. It was very easy to dial-in very good clean/crunch/lead tones right away. I found the Tone King to be fast and easy to work with as well. So now, I’m a little more willing to hold my breath, wait and HOPE that these plugins will sound as good when they’re finally ported to the QC.
All of this to say…hang in there my fellow QC owners! I think there’s a bright future ahead for us!

Pilini X will be the first ported to QC, I’d imagine the rest will quickly follow but that’s just my assumption.
