If you use the same post fx options across presets, I’ve found this solves the sound gap issue. I’ve found that if I use the same delay and reverb fx across all 4 pedal buttons, there is no gap when changing among them and I even get tails when changing between presets with different settings or expression pedal positions. I am also able to choose from different pre fx options without a gap, so one preset has a wah pedal assigned to the expression and 2 others are assigned to the wet levels for reverb and delay. also 3 of my pedal assignments share the same amp NAM while the 4th is unique and this doesn’t seem to cause a gap. The only sound issue I have is when switching from a preset that has a volume pedal assigned to the expression pedal to one that doesn’t and I hear a brief “tch” sound, which I haven’t found to be a major issue. Hope this helps those that are frustrated by this issue. The disadvantage is the limitation of choices for time based wet fx, but for me this isn’t a problem, as its the same as most of my pedalboards where a single pedal filled the role.

I use the same fx options on all my bass presets which are compresssors and EQ’s. I still have the gap switching going on. It isn’t instant like a normal pedal.
