Hi everyone, there is a kind of fade out fade in effect when switching between presents. Is anyone experimenting that too? Was like this before update 2.0?
I have the same thing.
OK, now I know I was not going crazy, as I had similar thing happening. I found that if I step on the switch too hard or press a little too long, I experience this slight sound cuts or drop outs. If I do a quick and very light tap on the switch, the unit works fine. I now use an external midi switching device (M-Wave Chocolate or Boss ES-5), problem solved.
I use also a external switching device ( m- vave chocolate ) but I still have this small gap any suggestions?
NDSP said that this last update introduced a 60 ms gap when switching presets. Before the update, it was gapless. Supposedly it´s because of the added flexibility in effects. This is what they state in the FAQ section of the web:
Are there gaps when switching Presets?
With NanOS 2.0.0, Nano Cortex now introduces a very short audio gap when switching Presets. The gap is minimal, typically around 60 milliseconds, and will not interrupt delay or reverb trails, which continue naturally between Presets. This change allows for greater flexibility in the signal chain and makes room for new features and devices introduced in NanOS 2.0.0.
Can I go back to older version? For me is s pain for live use…
