I think this problem has been going on for so many months isn’t normal for a brand. It may be a good product, but the support is far from optimal. We can’t use one of the main features, like sharing screenshots. When are you going to fix this? Next year? Aren’t they planning to fix it? I think it’s time to get an answer that solves this big problem among others, such as not being able to use it without a Wi-Fi network, etc., being able to save presets outside the cloud to be able to make backups. I don’t know, friends, it seems illogical to me that they are failing in basic aspects of a multi-effects pedal.
Couldn’t agree more!!!
They did add a lot of functionalities in 2.0 and 2.1 and while I understand your frustration and I hope for alle of the above and the solution to the dropout while switching presets, I would cut them some slack. They added more to the Nano, then what was promised. Do I think and hope they‘ll fix it soon. Absolutely, but I would just wait a little more. The updates to the Nano were great so far, so surely they‘ll have it done soonish…
I agree it’s pretty crap. I’m starting to get really annoyed by the lack of response from Neural.
How many YEARS of slack should we cut for them? They’ve been pretty pathetic in fulfilling promises and fixing issues. The Nano is a nice piece of gear, but I’m done with the QC.
I can understand the problem regarding the QC (and I loved that thing), but the Nano has been very stable and had very good progress in it‘s first year
I honestly don’t see any interest from Neural in communicating with the user. I see a moderator apologizing, but we don’t know when the problem will be fixed. It’s really questionable. It seems Neural is quite weak when it comes to technical support. As I said in another thread, I’m not a fan of Neural, and if someone is a fan, that’s fine, but I’m a user and I have a problem with a $500 pedal that I bought from them, and I’d like them to show some respect.
It’s ridiculous that a main feature has been broken for so long. Why is there such a focus on online and cloud storage? Just let us save a local file like literally every other company does (Kemper, ToneX, NAM etc). I bought my Nano months ago and after capturing my gear and not being able to share it, I haven’t touched it since.
Cortex Cloud for iPhone (and possibly Android?) has been updated to version 2.7.1
This release was a hot fix for the following issues:
-An issue that prevented some users from uploading or editing their Neural Captures.
-An issue where, under certain circumstances, the application would show an intermittent false “No internet connection” status
