I give you an example, in the hope to better explain the request:
Hybrid mode: Scene (A-D) AND Stomp (E-H)
Scene A: Clean
Scene B: Lead
At the moment switching between scenes keeps the stomp assigned (E to H) unchanged.
But what if I want to control:
Drive, Chorus, Delay and Rotary in Scene A
Pitch, Delay, Reverb, Doubler in Scene B
It would be useful to have stomp Footswitch layout scene-dependent like we already can with other parameters. So when you switch between scenes you can have available the stomps you actually need in that scene.
I’m guessing you’re wanting independent control of each of those stomps between scenes rather than a setup where you would turn on multiple stomps at the same time?
Exactly. I know how to turn on/off multiple stomps at the same time, but what is missing is a different stomp assignments between scenes, so that in each scene I can control the ones I really need.
Yeah, that’d be slick & highly useful. In particular, it would help make presets more efficient. Currently I use a “workaround” of just setting up a new preset, but generally I’m not having to make that many devices immediately accessible via a Stomp row. You could always use an external MIDI controller switch like the MorningStar MC6 Pro to give yourself more switches, but I think your idea makes a lot of sense as it keeps all control in the QC itself instead of having to expand from the unit with other devices.
