Quad Cortex Wont Boot Up, Flashing Lights

I hadn’t played through my QC in about a month as I had been traveling and I haven’t updated to the new OS that came out a couple weeks ago. I plugged in and started playing and everything was fine. I went to change presets and nothing happened. The preset loaded but no sound came out. After a few seconds of lag and nothing, a screen popped up about a corrupted neural capture. The options were cancel or continue. I hit continue and a screen popped up with a yellow border and it said it was rebooting. But after 5 minutes nothing happened. So I unplugged the unit. i’m using the original power supply. Plugged it back in and the screen is compeltely blank and the footswitch lights just slowly flash bluish/white and nothign happens. Tried unplugging and replugging back in… nothing. Removed all other cables, etc. nothing. Now it’s just frozend with these blue flashing lights and nothing happens.

What do I do???

Did you report this to support@neuraldsp.com by mail? If not, it’s first thing to do. You may need to send your device to them for repairing process.

definitely contact support, as referenced above.
In the meantime, this is what they will generally advise:

Failed update recovery:

  • Turn off the unit
  • Disconnect all the cables
  • Wait 30 seconds, connect only the PSU cable, and turn it on again
  • On the loading/splash screen, press and hold the “A” and “H” stomps
  • Select “Reset To Factory Default”
