Quad Cortex error crash and rebooting

Hi everyone,

Yesterday in the afternoon I was swapping some presets from one bank to another and they started to get laggy. Suddenly a yellow screen showed up and it said that an error was found, and it was going to reboot.

The reboot process got stuck into a loop and I disconnected the unit from all cables and the PSU. Tried to boot it back again but same issue appeared.

Reding in this forum I have found that maybe by removing the SD card can reset the unit but I’m waiting to hear from support. Their last response requested me to show the PSU specifications and ask about when and how I got the unit.

I pre ordered back on April 2021 and have always used the original PSU, however last time I used the unit was in a gig and my vocalist shut down the unit by stepping on the power supply by accident. Don’t know if its related but will ask a friend to see if with his PSU will work.

I have tried the factory reset but since it only shows the blinking lights and does not get to loading screen, I haven’t been able to do that.

I’m located in Mexico and have a gig coming up. Any recommendations?

Alan

there is still no solution regarding this issue, they told me to try another PSU in case that was the issue, but it did not work either and I sent test videos.

Hopefully support will get you sorted quickly. In the meantime, remove all connections from the QC including power and let it sit for several minutes then while keeping everything unplugged except power, try again.

Its on its way to Finland right, I hope it gets fixed :cactus:
