"Quad cortex encountered an error, rebooting in"

The power went out at home while I was upgrading the Quad Cortex and now I get the following message when I turn it on:

“Quad cortex encountered an error, rebooting in 5s”.

After this message it goes into a loop where it constantly reboots.
Has this happened to anyone?

I have also written to the support team.

Try power cycling while doing the recovery process of holding down the A and H knobs. If that doesn’t work, please reach out to support@neuraldsp.com and they will hopefully get you sorted quickly.

They wrote me from the support team and they have solved the problem: You have to start and when the loading bar appears press A and H at the same time and select Reset To Factory Default. I lost the presets, but it works perfectly.

I leave here the answer they gave me:

Can you please try the following:

  • Turn off the unit
  • Disconnect all the cables
  • Wait 30 seconds, connect only the PSU cable, and turn it on again
  • On the loading/splash screen, press and hold the “A” and “H” stomps
  • Select “Reset To Factory Default”
  • Check if the problem persists
