I tried to make a capture Friedman Runt 20 amplifier from cab-simulated XLR output f and when I start capure it gives me this error.

What does your IO look like? Make sure you inputs are set to the correct Line/inst . I get tripped up on that one sometimes.
QC Input 1-Guitar
QC Input 2 (XLR)- amp out XLR
QC capture out- amp input
QC Headphones-Headphones In
input 1 should be set to instrument and input 2 should be set to line.

Thanks for helping me…i’m new to this so where should i switch Input 2 to line?
If you swipe down on the screen it will pull up the IO screen. Make sure the type is set for the inputs.

Your input 2 should say mic/line
That type should be set to mic.

it can be a little confusing the way it’s labeled if you’re using an XLR into the QC and not an actual mic, but Jams is right- switch that input to MIC instead of instrument. That will enable the XLR connector. (They really should rename that setting to “XLR or 1/4”)
