No amp feed to profile

So im trying to hook up my QC to my amp to do a capture…. Did it last night and got a great capture of my MKiv boogie lead channel…. Deliriously good infact….. HOWEVER, ive come to today and wanted to do the other two channels and for some reason the amp is not being picked up in input two…. The return feed.

For info, this is how its set up:

  • Guitar to QC input one

  • Speaker out to Torpedo Captor X

  • Captor X to input 2

  • Outputs to monitors.

Ive not changed the set up from the previous night and ive tried the output of the captor x into my usual audient id44 and its fine. For some reason I cant get it to hear anything…. All levels are the same but for some reason the routing isn’t working. Ive re-booted 4 times, factory reset, checked operation of all cables and other components, all to no avail.

Ive concluded it is the feed from the qc to the amp.

Please help.

Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance.

Check and make sure your input 2 is set to mic

Even though im using a load box?

I dont think there’s a signal to the amp… ive tried using phones into the capture to see what its getting and its just static/white noise.

Ill try when home though. Thanks for the response. :+1::smiley:

In your post you don’t specify any cable going to the input of the amp…. Is the capture out going to the input of your amp? Haha

Good call, I dont see capture out to amp either.

Oh yes, dumb ass me… my mistake haha
Yes all connected correctly. As I said, the previous night it worked perfectly.
Very strange…

if the loadbox is connecting to the QC via XLR, then yes- you need to change input type to “Mic.”

I’ve pestered them for years that they should relabel that to “1/4” vs XLR”- not ‘instrument vs mic.’ The only thing that switch does it change it from the 1/4” to the XLR side of the multijack.

But, if you can definitely determine your capture out signal is dead, best to contact support@neuraldsp.com ASAP

So finally got it to work and trialed it…. For some reason its not liking it if I leave everything plugged in from start up. I have to sequentially unplug and then connect as per the schematic on the profile diagram.

Doesn’t make sense but that’s how im having to do it.

Its only done this since last update:face_with_peeking_eye:
