have you checked the SD memorycard?
Screw the device and open it carefully,there is an SD memory card in it and remove it out of the slot and place it back into the sd card slot.
I know this is an audiodevice but on a hardware level when the screen and lights flickers or it gets stuck on reboot or update or any other weird shit like that,then you must treat this as a computer.
when this happened to me it was obvious what this was.ive dont this to other devices like roland spd and few soundmodules that get heavy usage. take it into flights and endless amount of roadtrips,somewhere an SD card will nudge out of connection.
I haven’t tried it because I’m afraid of losing the warranty. Can I try without loosing it ?

I couldn’t help myself and asked this directly to Ndsp Support Team. They clearly said “Notice that we never recommend users to open their QC as it will void its warranty, and also could damage internal parts if done incorrectly.”
I live in Turkey and having 2-3 gigs per week. I hope my QC never fails permanently. It would be a huge impact on my workflow.
I know its expensive but I took two Quad Cortex units to my gig Saturday night. I am not taking any chances.

Hey man, did you have any luck on this? I’m facing the same problem and I also live in Brazil. I’m in contact with NDSP and the official reseller but I wanted to know what cases like mine was solved.
Same issue here since update to CoreOS 3.1.0. Twice in the last 24 hours. I never experienced this before. In my case if I disconnect the power supply and connect it again, it solves the issue temporary (until next time). I have contacted Neural Support but not answer yet. Is this maybe a issue related to the new CorOS version?
I don’t think that it is related to the CorOS version. In my case, it started before the update was released. It might be related to the storage unit that cannot read or write data properly and turns QC off. I did the same as you did but reset to the factory settings. When I checked the factory presets, just the first bank had the devices when selected. The other banks were empty and the name appeared as “Unsaved” when selected. When I tried to update to CorOS 3.1.0, my QC turned off when downloading and when installing on another try. I gave up trying to update since whenever heavy data is being written it turns off the unit.
Hi there !!! Yes, I did and my QC is working now. Neural support was amazing and I highly recommend that you send your unity and let them resolve that issue. It was fast and super easy. Hope you have same experience as mine. Feel free to ask if I can help anyway.
That’s great to hear! I’m really happy for you. If it’s not too much trouble, could you please share how the taxes were managed when QC was sent back to Brazil? Did you use Correios for shipping? Additionally, how long did it take from the moment you sent it until it arrived?
Their support was really amazing and they took care about everything. We used UPS as carrier and no tax was paid when I received it back. In fact, there was no cost for me in the whole process. I asked Neural and they said that they would cover any extra cost or tax. I received my unit back in 18 days. I can´t express how friendly and kind they are.
check power supply voltage (Replace the power supply )
had it happen to me pull out sd card and re-insert fixed a few different errors on boot including this it will take you 2 mins or wait for support and maybe return to service dept.
