Qc mini fx loop

Curious to know how to set up the Qc mini to use both fx loops. Not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

What are you trying to accomplish by using both FX loops? Stereo operation, or one after the other?

The main thing is to add the FX loops where you like on the grid. You can choose FX Loop 1 by itself, FX Loop 2 by itself, or FX Loop 1/2 if you need stereo.

There are more options for using Sends and Returns individually–these are for extending the I/O in case you need more than two outputs, etc. But it’s not necessary to use them if you know you’re going to use a whole FX Loop. I hope that makes sense.

The output levels on the Sends are high by default. Not sure why Neural chose to do it this way, but It’s a good idea to reduce them both at -4 to -5 dB in the global settings. I run mine at -4.5 dB and it plays nice with my external Boss pedals.

Each FX Loop will add some amount of latency, as the signal has to go through a DAC process in the QC’s Send jacks and then back through an ADC on the QC’s Return jacks.

I have two preamp pedals that I’d like to run in independent fx loops. Just wondering how to do that and what cables do I need?

Add the FX Loop blocks to the grid.

Use instrument cables to connect your preamp pedals to the QC.
