Im using a factory preset in scene mode and would like to change the volume for a specific scene. When i do this it changes all the scenes to that volume. How can i change the volume of 1 scene without effecting the others?
Check out page 52 of the manual:
Scene Bypass State Behavior
(Settings > Device Options)
This feature controls whether
changes to the bypass state
of a block in Scene Mode are
automatically saved to the
active Scene. By default, all the
changes are overwritten.
Note that you cannot modify factory presets, you must do a SAVE AS and save to your own presets.
Thanks for the fast response. I disabled scene bypass and its still not working but i will keep trying to figire it out.
Is changing the volume considered modifying the scene?
you need to save the preset as a User preset, the changes won’t stick to a Factory Preset.
Then, long-press on the volume parameter you want to change between scenes. The small ABCD icon will appear. Now any changes you make are ‘per-scene,’ only that one scene will be affected. The others will remain as they were.
Now save the preset for these changes to persist.
This worked thank you!

You may have missed my note at the bottom of my last post:
