Hi Gang:

I am still learning this fantastic Quad Cortex. I downloaded a sound from the Cortex Cloud Zwreck 20, and I am trying to set up scenes. But for some reason, every time I make an adjustment and try to save it to a scene, it saves it for ALL. I open a stock preset like the Swiss Knife, and I can set up scenes, make changes, and save them to the scene. I am missing a step here with my new sound. Any thoughts? Please and thank you.

Thank you for your response. That appears to be a global setting, which is set correctly or set to default. Strangely, this isn’t happening to all presets.

You must assign the dedicated parameters to “Scene” as a precondition. Check the QC manual for that one - page 53.

sounds like the opposite of what should be happening; a factory preset shouldn’t be editable unless you’re doing as ‘save as’ and creating a duplicate elsewhere.

User presets DL’d from the Cloud should be editable in all cases.
Maybe you have a bug? Have you rebooted the unit several times since the last update? Have you tried Recovery Mode?

  • Turn off the unit
  • Disconnect all the cables
  • Wait 30 seconds, connect only the PSU cable, and turn it on again
  • On the loading/splash screen, press and hold the “A” and “H” stomps
  • Select “Reset To Factory Default”
  • Check if the problem persists
