I noticed that for the effects, the only option is to have modulation in the post effects slots. I find this kind of weird. because I usually use effects like chorus, phaser, and flanger in front of the amp, not in the loop. Also I was wondering if the pitch block could be expanded to implement a whammy pedal. Not sure if that is possible given the limited processing power of the nano compared to the quad cortex, but that would be cool if able to be implemented.
There are a handful of very similar requests which all have to do with wanting to put block types in slots the Nano currently prevents them from:
@MP_Mod can you make a master feature request for completely opening up the Nano slots? This is going to keep coming up again and again.
Yes, I agree, being able to allocate any combination of the 5 slots for pre or post effects would be awesome.
I would take it a step further… User should just be able to put any block–including captures and cabs/IRs–anywhere in the chain, just like they can on the Quad Cortex.
The only limits should be the number of slots, and perhaps some cap on the total amount of CPU used (just like QC).
I totally agree, it would be great to use any effects in pre or post chains. Now i have to put pedals before the nano-cortex, and this causes a lot of inconvenience. Is it possible to somehow add this to the wish list so that the developers will notice? ![]()
