Old iLok, Old User - Nameless X won't launch anymore

I don’t know what to do now? The quick background. Purchased Nameless way back in 2018 when it was first released. Now I got a Quad Cortex and want to use it on there. The issue is:

  • For some reason I put that license under a different iLok, user account/email which I no longer have access to. I did contact iLok and they switched that to my current account.
  • When I try to launch the standalone Nameless X, which I upgraded, it won’t even load. just stalls. I’m on a PC. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled it numerous times.
  • Can’t even get to any screen where I can even get to the settings of the plugin. I also tried it through a DAW and it doesn’t even show up in the plugin list.
  • iLok Manager has 3 instances of Nameless all saying Trial or Extended, NO license showing.
  • Strangest of all, I’m been using Nameless X for years on my PC and in my DAW until recently when I noticed the Quad Cortex has it locked.
  • I have already contacted Neural about this issue, but they said they can’t help and it’s a iLok issue.

To me, the easiest resolve. I can prove I own it. There’s a conflict with my iLok and Neural, just release a new license to me? Am I on crazy pills to think this?

A plugin protected by iLok will not load or function without a valid license, as the software’s security system will completely block it. That is the likely reason for your plugin not loading/running.

If you bought the plugin and have a valid license, you need to keep working with iLok to resolve as it seems Neural can’t do any more. The only way a plugin will work is if both the iLok and NDSP have the same email used for registration.

I know it’s a PITA but iLok should be able to resolve this issue.
