Noise gate always on?

Hi all,

I am the happy owner of the nano cortex for a few month and it’s sound really great, and I love the ease of use. So much intuitive. But, there’s one thing that questions me for a few weeks.

I noticed when I play a chord, and let the sound decaying and fading, near it comes to zero, then the volume decay is in a non-linear way but “step by step” just as if the noise gate were constantly active, even though it’s off on all my presets.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a software bug?

Thanks for the help !

I have been noticing the same!!! Its kinda random too… thought I was just imagining it…

Now that you mention it, I can explain the hard cutoff on some of the fuzz based captures, that I don’t have on the QC.

Maybe it’s a bug

Probably you r sure that the noise gate is off but what I have realized is even the noise gate at 0db and switch is on, still processing. Just a double check, maybe yours is at 0db at you might have think its off- ensure the switch of ng is off.
