Neural DSP drops another soon video

Hope it’s QC related…

Me too! But I’m afraid it will be a plug-in. They haven’t released a legitimately new guitar plugin in quite a while.

If it’s a completely new plugin… I wonder if it will be instantly QC compatible. Maybe they’ve started building them now from a compatible architecture???

In pretty sure the “SOON” campaigns have all been new plugin ads. And NDSP said a while back not to expect newly released plugins to be QC-compatible immediately. So I’d recommend preparing for that likelihood.

I’d love them to prove me wrong though!

It’s possible that it could be an X version of an existing plug-in; I think the Rabea X release had fancy newer CGI in its marketing.

I sure hope it is QC related but i don’t think so.

This video, to me, looks like a suite of a particular amp coming in a plugin. Maybe the video shows the actual inside of it, maybe some gears geeks can reconize it.

I can be wrong but i think ,between a soon video and the unveiling the time is short (few days).

Hope it’s not a new hardware…

Bringing TINA back?

The SOON became SOONER and no idea what it is

For the wannabe professional funk player, features:

  • a unique riff copying device
  • a miming module
  • a real-time half to full speed doubler: make your quarter notes sound like eight notes

… and much more!!

Archetype: Sooner

It’s almost here. Always has been.

This plugin finally delivers on our promises: all the tones sound like they’re about to load, about to drop, or about to resolve… but never quite do.

An amp with infinite gain: a high-gain monster that keeps ramping compression and tightness, but somehow never quite breaks up or saturates. It’s knobs can be turned indefinitely but never reach 10.

A delay with 2 repeat settings: either soon or sooner. No idea when the repeats will come, if ever.

Freeze Reverb: trails forever

But then also with a Noise Complaint Gate ™ – only opens when the signal is above “neighbors calling the cops” level.

I wonder when would be the soonest we’ll see it

Wednesday, for whatever this is

As I only see glowing tubes I hope they managed improve their amp modelling which, although great and really usable, is still rough around the edges with for example several models clipping quickly when paired with certain distortion blocks. Looking forward to see the first head to head comparisons between the QC and the upcoming HX Stadium.

Is this new soon and sooner stuff related to the QC do we think?

not usually. In the past, it’s always been a 3-day campaign for a new plugin. If it sticks to the established history, we’ll see it drop tomorrow

sounds (and looks) like Archetype Tron based on today’s “TOMORROW” update

ngl, Archetype: Lightbike has a nice ring to it. And considering what them kids are listening to these days, I bet it would sell like hot cakes if it was all synthwave and soft shred stuff. Myrone would be doing backflips

If it’s a new plugin, I hope Neural DSP adopts a policy to release it immediately on the Quad Cortex too…

I mean… if their current architecture takes in into account then why not? It would boost sales…

Still would rather see some new stuff on the QC though…
