Nano Cortex with Chocolate FS and Nektar Exp Pedal

Hello!

I’ve seen a couple of other pictures here of people using these 2 together with the Nano but it seems that I have a 2nd generation “Chocolate” footswitch and it only has the one USB-C port that I’m plugging straight into the USB-C on the NC.. If anyone could help me with how to make this work I would greatly appreciate it.

The Nektar expression pedal I have seems to work fine in terms of being recognized by the app, but even after a calibration it still doesn’t actually work when I try to apply it on effects. Not sure if that’s a bug with the latest update or what. I’m trying to switch between presets and have pitch control using the expression pedal on certain presets- is that even possible?

I know the QC can do this but just really hoping it can work with the NC. Thanks for any insight one can provide on this.

To use midi usb with NC you must use chocolate plus that have host mode and a usb-c and usb-a port (this will go to NC usb)

Gotcha, thanks for the response. It seems as though the 1st revision M-VAVE Chocolate controller is the only one that will work with the NC correctly. Revision 2 only has the one USB-C port (for power only). Does anyone know of another controller under $100 that would give me both button switch and expression pedal functionality?

I’m thinking about programming my Line6 FBII shortboard for PC and using an OTG cable to plug straight into the USB. I’ll report back if this works!
