Nano captures not allowing me to see any data or make them public

Same issue, same answer. Over one month now and still no fix. Does NeuralDSP support the nano or only the quad? I will wait one or two weeks longer and then sell it.

Same. On the verge of selling mine. This is ridiculous!

Same issue for me. Support wrote this in an email on the 5th September:

“This is, in fact, a known bug, and there is already a fix that will be available in the new Nano Cortex firmware update, or possibly sooner in a Cortex Cloud app update.

We sincerely apologize for the experience and appreciate your patience while we provide an update.”

It’s disappointing that it’s taking this long. I’ve got twenty or so new captures and without being able to even see the meta-data, let alone change anything or upload them, I barely know which is which.

Hi there, I returned mine. I have a couple of captures I cannot live without for gigs. I won’t gig without backup options.

I ‘ve come back to my old rig : macbbook Air M1, Neuradsp standalone app, midi bluetooth controller. And in the end, it’s not worst. Never had any issue in concert : Neural app on Macos is bullet-proof , and the 4 switches of the controller are much more convenient. Moreover, all midi messages are CC (change gain, switch on delay, …) so I have no gap when switching

My presets and midi mappings are saved in my personal cloud. Issue closed.

Your milage may vary

Sent an email to NeuralDSP - based on the reply they still seem to struggle to identify the root cause and provide fix.

I just emailed support for an ETA on the bugfix and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be any time soon. Here’s their response:

I’m sorry but at the moment we have no update regarding said ETA for this particular issue. Our Dev Team is currently working on the hotfix for it and as soon as we have more news in this regards we will reach back out.”

Just got this from Neural this morning:

Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, the issue you are experiencing with syncing the Nano Cortex to the cloud is, in fact, a known bug. The good news is that there is already a fix that will be available in a new Cortex Cloud app update coming very soon.

We sincerely apologize for the experience and appreciate your patience while we provide an update.

Thanks for your patience and have a nice day.

Best regards,

Neural DSP Support Team

Still no update for the nano, it’s been nearly two months since this issue was reported. What is the next move now? I’ve gotten no response from NDSP, and my nano has been collecting dust. This is straight up unacceptable from a flagship piece of hardware from a well known company. They seem to allocate all their available resources to each new release they roll out, then completely drop support for their previous one. I love their plugins, and I loved the nano for the week that it was working for me. This is not a jab at NDSP’s engineers or even NDPS directly, just a frustrated long time customer who just wants their $500 piece of gear to do what it’s supposed to do.

Unfortunately, there is no specific ETA as of current on when the hotfix will be provided other than they are aware and working to release an updated Cortex Cloud app very soon. It appears they needed additional investigation as it doesn’t impact all users for some reason. I am hoping for resolution any day now.

What I’m seeing is that Neural has very poor communication with the user, and simply apologizes. I bought the Nano Cortex over a month ago and I don’t use it because of that problem and other things like not being able to make a backup of the presets. I hope it’s a company that at least knows how to accept criticism to improve because it’s really making a big mistake by not showing interest in solving this problem. For example, if someone is a fan of Neural, congratulations, but I’m not a fan, I’m a user.
