Would appreciate you linking me to your USB-C cable. I scored one that’s linked above off Amazon but it only pushes like 5v from the USB-C output. Not sure if that’s the cable or the output, but I measured it and it’s 5v.
Finally got mine sorted with these two products:
The battery pushes variable voltage from USB-C, but when I tried to power the QC from it, it would not boot. I measured voltage at 2.5v, assuming default voltage coming from the USB-C output tap.
Purchased the additional cable from Amazon, which essentially tells the battery to push 12v. Once that and the reverse polarity cable was added, the QC booted up and ran for 3 hours and only took down one bar, from the 4 total. Haven’t gigged it yet, but so far super happy with the solution.
Does anyone know if the D’addario XPND pedal power battery will power the Quad Cortex?
Says on the D’addario website “the kit is currently designed to only power 9-volt pedals under 500 mA”. The QC wired power supply is 12V @ 3A.

I have been curious of this recently as well. The battery cell is 10,000 mAh so it should in theory be an able to power the QC, but you would need to have something in between to convert to 12v like the CIOKS Crux I think. Any update on if you have tried this, or anyone else here?

I got your exact same gear (including the Voodoo Labs cable) except for the Krisdonia, since I have the 25000 model. When I plug the cable and set 12V on the Krisdonia nothing happens: the QC doesn’t turn on. Can you help me?

Make sure you are using the correct center negative polarity. If not, you will need a polarity inverter etc.

I’ve been using battery power for my pedalboards for years. Just got my QC last week. I went for a 20000mAh PD power bank that supports 12V @ 3A. And I use a cable that has a 12V PD trigger built into the USB C end. I will have the board out of the house for the first time tonight. But my calculations suggest 4-5 hours with this 20000mAh battery. We’ll see.
It’s not sending 20V straight into the QC, I would’ve seen that many years ago. It’s been working perfectly for 2 years now with 0 problems. Plus my QC is 12V and my wireless Shure unit is 8V so it adds up well.
Electrical engineer here. It sounds like you’re running your QC (12V device) and your Shure wireless (8V device) in series to match your 20V power supply, which is an odd solution.
That sounds fine as far as voltage is concerned, but there’s risk of damage to one or both units due to a possible current mismatch. For example, if the QC pulls something like 1.7 - 1.8 amps average, that current has to flow through the next device in series. If the Shure unit is meant to handle 1A or less, then you could potentially burn it out.
I understand that you’ve had no problems powering your devices this way thus far, but I would strongly advise against it. But–I’ll leave it at that and won’t speak on it any further. Moving on.

I got a tester and did all the checks, and the cable i’m using converts the polarity itself!
I just tried another straight cable with polarity inverter but nothing changed 
I already send back one Krisdonia and take another one because I thought they sent me a defective unit. But now I don’t know what to do
This battery has been rock solid for me. Never get below 50% charge in a gig.
Does require the reverse polarity pigtail.
I saw that this PB doesn’t provide 12V via DC but USB only. My goal is to use the DC out
I have to connect QC and a wireless jack. I’d just wanna know what’s the problem with my PB. I made a 9V test and the QC turned on, I don’t know why
