Sounds to me like you need to reverse the polarity of the cable.
Yeah, I couldn’t get the Krisdonia to work. Had to return it. I dont recommend running on 9v. I also got mine to power up with 9v, but the output levels were compromised. Enough voltage to power the CPU, it not enough to power the line level output.
Good luck. FWIW, the Talent cell allows you to run any combination of power outlets simultaneously. I actually run my tuner in a battery, but considering a switch to one of the additional outlets.
I don’t use the DC out. I use a USB-C to DC adaptor, which reverses the polarity.
I already did all the tests, the polarity is correct!
I think I’ll return this Krisdonia too and go for a classic power supply

Suit yourself. I haven’t had a single probem since buying it in 2023.
This is the cable I’m using.
I don’t think its working on the newer models. I tried several different cabling methods and could not get it to work. Only in the 9v setting which compromised the output levels. YMMV.

After powering the QC for 2.5 hours, the battery read 58% remaining. I can live with that easily.
