Migrate Old Presets to New QC

All,

I would like ask for some advise from the experts here. I sold my QC about 8 months ago, and have missed it ever since. I now have a new unit today and would like to upload my backup files from an older OS to get the old presets back. My question is: Should I upload from the backup file first or is it best of update to the new OS first, then load from the backup file? Please advise.

Either way should work.

I’d probably start with restoring the backup, then do the updates

Thanks for the response Xush…. Unfortunately it seems that I cannot log onto an old account with the new unit. Is it possible to over come this situation?

Can you log into the Cloud?

There was an issue a while back where some passwords were invalidated because they were found on the darkweb. You might need to reset your PW.

Did it give you a specific error message?
