Is there anyway to use a MIDI controller (Morningstar MC3, PBC 6x etc.) to go up and down semi-tones on the Transpose block?
Not yet (or ever?) I don’t think. You can always add a couple transpose blocks with different settings and turn them on or off as you need. This is what I did in the Helix and what I’m doing in the QC. On my Fractal I could just assign a CC to the pitch knob, but no one has as robust of MIDI as Fractal, so you gotta find workarounds.
On my HX, I would have two Simple Pitch blocks; one -1 and one -5, so I could do essentially three tunings with one preset just using Snapshots.

If you’re not using one of the expression pedals, you could assign the transpose amount to an expression pedal, then use midi to control the expression pedal value.
CC#1 is Exp 1, CC#2 is Exp 2.
