Material Safety Data Sheet

I have been trying to send my unit to repair under warranty. Somehow, I have managed to get to the stage of UPS delivery tags are sent. However UPS didn’t accept my unit because they need to see Material Safety Data Sheet. So again I have written to obtain this document. Since then, I have not heard from QC. So the options are pretty limited; a) QC doesn’t have this document (this will be interesting…because I am seeking legal action if this is the case)b) They don’t care. I am running out of time. I need an answer.
Best,

A material safety data sheet is usually needed for shipping items like batteries. I’ve never heard of a single person ever needing this kind of documentation to ship a QC.

well you heard it now!

I have never heard or seen anyone require a Material Safety Data Sheet for repair since QC was released, regardless I have escalated directly to support for a definitive answer ASAP.

I am sorry but this is getting weird. I am simply following the steps that QC wants me to follow. I take it UPS (which was directed by QC…) and this is what they have told me repeatedly. Although I have explained to them that this unit doesn’t have battery and offered them to show how it works.

I agree with you that this is weird. UPS asking you repeatedly to provide an MSDS is bonkers. But your issue is with UPS, not Neural DSP.

I’m not with Neural DSP, but this is an open forum. I’m out of this discussion. Good luck.

Unless you see a post directly from NDSP, NDSP staff rarely respond to this forum unless new features, updates are announced. That being said, this forum is mostly for users to interact, help and discuss things with each other etc., if you need support, it’s always best to email at the address provided earlier. Being rude to other members will not help your cause who are only replying to provide help directly to you. That being said, I agree with @DiffractionCircuit that this is a UPS and not NDSP issue as I stated prior, I have never heard or seen anyone require the MSDS for shipping their QC for repairs since the QC was available. I’m sure it’s frustrating and for the record, I have escalated directly with support and hope to hear something back soon.

Support has replied, NDSP doesn’t have/need a MSDS as there are no batteries inside.
You would need to escalate with the carrier and or coordinate with NDSP to use another carrier if needed. This sounds like something was filled out misrepresenting what is being shipped, let your carrier know there are no battery(s) inside the QC and MSDS is not required as validated directly from support.
