Hi. Just trying to understand the duplicate function of the looper better. I have noticed that after pressing this function, the QC starts overdubbing even though there’s no indication of this on the display. My expectation, when pressing duplicate, is that the recording would be doubled, tripled, etc, basically prepping the loop for a longer overdub, but not actually initiating the overdub. Since I’m not familiar with loopers in general, is the way duplicate works on the QC considered typical of most loopers? Because of how it works, I always end up with an unexpected overdub, or even just increased noise from re-recording the noise floor, when using duplicate.
