Loop Persistence When Switching Presets on Neural QC – Possible Workarounds?

Hey Neural QC community!

I’ve been diving into looping with the Neural Quad Cortex and wondering if anyone’s found a way to loop a section using one preset and then shift to a different preset for soloing without affecting the loop. As far as I understand, looping on the QC involves inserting the looper onto the grid, which makes me think switching presets might wipe out the looped audio since it would essentially be a different grid setup.

Has anyone figured out a workaround or method to keep the loop going while changing presets? Open to any tips or creative approaches. Thanks in advance!

Indeed the looper keeps the recorded loop, as long as the two presets both have a looper on the grid.
But you’ll have a short gap while switching presets where the loop will mute. As far as I can tell there’s no actual delay, so the loop will stay in time.

Depending on what you want to do this might or might not be a deal breaker.

In terms of other methods/workarounds I can’t think of any except using scenes and not switch presets. Maybe someone else can chime in.
