I’m trying to install the latest version of Archetype Nolly but I keep getting an error message. “An error occured while trying to replace an existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5. Access is denied.” Then my only options are to try again (which doesn’t work), skip this file, or cancel. How can I update to the latest version?
Hi @zach.furlow. That error message appears when one of the files that need to be replaced is in use. Try the following:
- Restart your computer
- Download the installer again
- Make sure the application is not running and disable your antivirus
- If you have another version already installed, uninstall it
- Launch the installer as admin
