Otherwise I end up leaving the thing on all night. That’s not good for anyone.

Perhaps a way to shut off the flagging light

I put a Rockman LED damper over it. Barely noticeable now.

I’m wondering what opinions are on leaving the unit in standby mode for extended periods of time. I can see light emanating from inside the unit, does anyone think this will appreciably add to wear and tear or shorten it’s total lifespan?

Similarly, does turning the unit off using a power strip, while in standby mode pose any risks?

Thanks for any input.

I’ve switched to using a power strip to turn the QC on and off. No issues. It even says that’s OK do to in the manual.
