There should be an indicator light when in standby mode

Often I jam out for a while when I get home and like to put the Quad Cortex in standby mode so I don’t have to wait for the long startup again in case I want to jam out more before I call it a night.

However, I do like to shut it down when going to bed because it will be a full day before I get back to play again.

If I’m super tired and off to bed I am not always sure the standby mode is active (there is no indication light) and I get leary about hitting that button, in case it is off already and I then have to wait through the whole startup sequence again only to shut it off right away because I need to get to sleep.

There have been multiple requests for this feature but I’m going to give you my down to earth reason on why I need a indicator light.

Please fix this!

Just tapping that nice touch screen to see if its awake would be a nice solution. But a light indicator is still best.

Just fyi: standby mode uses about the same amount of power, so i wonder why use it. To prolong display life maybe?
