Hi there! I wish that, when using an external midi pedal to control quad footswitch it should be programmable the on/ off state.
Ex:
Now is - CC# 35 Value 0-127 Enable/bypass Footswitch A
Should be - CC# 35 Value 0-63 Bypass, Value 63-127 Enable
Not exactly sure what you mean… But if you have a drive pedal on footswitch A… and another drive on B etc etc… You can turn those fx on and off with with the A or B switch… You can also set it up that on drive switches off while the other switches on with just one switch A/B/C Or D…
Yep. Gotta go with Fractal if you want the most fully-featured MIDI in the biz. This was the main reason I sent it back when I got it on release. I own it again now, but I also don’t need as robust of MIDI functionality anymore.
And so am I and I can turn fx on and off with it… As long as I’ve understood what you are saying… If I’m wrong apoligise but my floor midi controller does switch on and off fx
You have 10 banks of 10 basically… So bank 00 can be stomp mode 01 can can be scenes etc etc and then water banks you have left can be presets…
8 stomp 8 scenes hybrid mode if you want to use it that way… So abcd can be stomp and efgh can be scenes… I don’t use hybrid but I can if I want to I prefer stomp and scene 8x8 type of setup
Done that! Bought UNO chip for fcb 1010 years ago. Could always program everything like i wanted… not with quad cortex!
That´s why to behave correctly was usefull to be able to receive on/off state…
OK then you can mirror the hybrid mode. 4 will be scenes and 4 will be stomp… I don’t need lights myself… But the chip upgrade is meant to reflect what you press on the controller so if you set it up right and when you stomp on a switch it lights up correct… If switch is off its blank so I would assume it will match up… Like what’s on the QC if it’s on its lit up if its off its not
Doesn´t work properly… if you press two times the same scene switch it reverses all the stompboxs state. Because the #cc on the quad reacts to any value between 0 and 127 and not a preditermined value or interval of values( like on scene selection)
