So I am, getting used to the QC and trying to set it up for some live shows.
I am using Set list for each show and allocating patches to the set list.
So my question relates to the patches. <My preference is to use hybrid mode with scenes and stomps. even loving the flexibility this gives me. However when I first set it up I selected Scenes at the top row and Stomps as the bottom row… I just when to reverse this and all chaos was unleashed. None of ,my scenes were there. Now by reversed the order back my scenes were still there, so how do I get my A B CD scenes to E F GH so that when I reverse the order of scenes and stomps it all works.
(I have tried cancelling hybrid mode and copying each scene ABCD to EFGH, there turning hybrid back on, but is just did the same as before!! Am I going mad or missing something obvious.
Thanks for any help.
The scenes / stomps are assigned to specific buttons, rather than being a 1st/2nd/3rd choice etc. So the scene on button A is still there on button A in both hybrid modes - but of course, when you have another mode covering that top row, that button points to that other mode rather than the scene underneath it.
This is the confusing bit because this is exactly what you need to do to fix your issue. Go back to full scene mode and copy the scenes you want to use onto buttons E/F/G/H. I went through exactly this when setting up my QC - starting with scenes at the top with stomps below, then changing my mind - so I’m not sure why it’s not working for you.
Try double checking the scene assignments in full scene mode and make sure E=A, F=B etc. before moving back to hybrid. Double check you have moved your stomp assignments to A/B/C/D as well.
Hey. Thank you for your help.
Ok- thought I was on the right path…. Will try it again later.
Thanks again. Have a great week.
The problem really is how limiting the hybrid mode is. What we need is full control over foot-switch assignments, just like you can in every other modeler out there.
